About Publishing on Editable Photos BlogEditable Photos is on the road to creating a strong database with a focus on beauty and product retouching tutorials to help artists learn new techniques through practical demonstrations. If you have a unique or helpful technique or tip that you would like to share with the community, we want to hear from you.PaymentCurrently we are only accepting content that is compatible with our sites needs. If your content is accepted, we’ll pay an agreed USD rate per item published. Please find the rates on this page. You must have a PayPal account in order for us to be able to pay you. IMPORTANT: Payment is made the date of publication not the date of acceptance.ProfileAs an author/instructor, you will be featured at the bottom of each tutorial you submit. When you submit your tutorial you will be asked to provide a short bio, a homepage URL and a profile image to go in this space. You will also get an author page, with a list of all the tutorials you have provided thus far to the site.Requirements If you are contracted by us, you must use the RAW image that we provide to be the subject of the tutorial. If you are submitting a tutorial not using a photo provided by us, you must provide all the necessary licenses and they must be commercially allowed. The content must be original work and not published anywhere else. You must have a paypal account for us to pay you. Payment is made once the tutorial/article is published. Editable Photos Author/Artist AgreementIf your tutorial is acceptedFor videos contracted by us: All video tutorials and content that were contracted and paid for by Editable Photos (i.e. videos using images we provide, our instructions etc) are exclusive and are not to be used in any other medium without our expressed written permission. Exclusivity only applies to the video content produced. The artist is not restricted in any other way to produce his/her own tutorials or video content. You may not redistribute the file in other format. For videos NOT contracted by us: You grant a license to readers to use the knowledge and demonstrated effects shown in the tutorial/content in their own projects without reference to yourself or this site. They may not reproduce the tutorials itself, but they can use the techniques that you teach. You consent to the full tutorials, content or examples from it appearing in other Editable photos sites, products and services.If you have used any assets that was not provided by Editable Photos — images, sounds, music tracks, fonts, anything at all — in your tutorial, and you didn’t create them, then you must obtain redistribution rights for the assets. |
